Qualification for Membership

To qualify for membership, an individual must be
a) an advocate & solicitor practising IP, or
b) a registered patent agent practising the profession of a patent agent
and holding a valid practising certificate.

Privileges of Membership

An individual member is
1) eligible to vote
2) eligible to hold office
3) entitled to attend meetings of APAA

General Information

Upon approval of membership, this information will appear on the Register

I declare that I am

an advocate and solicitor with a valid practising certificate issued under the Legal Profession Act (Cap.161) and practising intellectual property law in Singapore in an organisation which is eligible for membership of the Association under Article 6.2.1.2 of the Constitution; or

a patent agent registered under Patents Act (Cap. 221) with a valid practising certificate and practising the profession of a patent agent in Singapore in an organization which is eligible for membership of the Association under Article 6.2.1.2 of the Constitution
