Qualification for Membership

To qualify for membership, an organisation must comprise
a) one or more advocate & solicitors practising IP, or
b) one or more registered patent agents practising the profession of a patent agent
and holding a valid practising certificate.


Privileges of Membership

An organisation member is
1) Eligible to vote
2) Entitled to be represented by up to a maximum of 3 representatives (or such number as decided by APAA) at meetings of APAA.

Upon approval of membership, this information will appear on the Register

Representatives

A representative must be able to qualify for individual membership as an advocate & solicitor or registered patent agent practising IP in Singapore.
